KHS-Multi-Circ Distribution Unit - static for DWC

Structure and operating principle
KHS-Multi-Circ Distribution Unit comes from an innovation on the KEMPER KHS hygiene system. The KHS-Multi-Circ Distribution Unit flow action is based on the principle of Venturi nozzle engineering. A differential pressure with a ∆p of average 30 - 50 mbar is generated through a defined constriction, related to the respective interior valve diameter. This minimal pressure difference forces a forced flow-through in sanitary block feed line A of approx. 5 - 10 % of the total drinking water volume flow. The remaining drinking water volume flow (approx. 90%) continues to flow as passage volumetric current through the flow distributor.
The second connection to the distribution distributor (return pipe B) combines 100% of the force-flowed drinking water back together with the remaining drinking water volume flow. To keep the pressure loss in the sanitary block low, (i.e. only pipeline pressure losses and individual resistance), only KHS-Multi-Circ Distribution Unit with low pressure-loss VAV valves are allowed to be installed as surface or concealed mounted versions. That ensures the hydraulic conditions for forced-flowing the sanitary blocks.
